Plastic Wing Pivot Mechanism currently not available.

In 2002 Noel Martin, a friend of Frank Macy's, looked at a 1950's prototype plastic folding wing mechanism made by Bob Smurthwaite, and came up with this reliable folding wing mechanism.
Foldin Wing Process in the American Junior plane
The folding wing process reliably replicates the Jim Walker concept. The new wing pivot has built in camber to create the airfoil you need, simply glue in your 1/16" balsa wing. It is designed to work with 3/16" " thick balsa for the fuselage. Look at our folding wing gallery for ideas.
